It’s a grim reality we forget, but Mongolians are still suffering from the severe winter two years ago. Have a look at the photo essay that appeared in Foreign Policy yesterday, a pretty striking collection of evidence showing the countryside refugees that are now streaming into the capital city because their herds have been decimated, and in some cases, obliterated altogether.
